Dimitrios Buhalis

Professor Dimitrios Buhalis is a Greek academic born in Athens, specializing in strategic management, marketing, and Information Communication Technology applications in tourism, travel, hospitality, and leisure industries. He serves as Director of the eTourism Lab and Deputy Director of the International Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Research at Bournemouth University Business School in England, and is Editor-in-Chief of Tourism Review and the Encyclopedia of Tourism Management and Marketing. His research focuses on smart tourism, innovation, entrepreneurship, and destination ecosystems management.
