Diane Stanley
Diane Stanley is an American children's author and illustrator born in Abilene, Texas, known especially for her series of picture book biographies. She earned her bachelor's degree from Trinity University and an M.A. in medical illustration from Johns Hopkins University, and has authored and/or illustrated more than sixty books for children, winning numerous awards including the Boston Globe/Hornbook Award and the Washington Post/Children's Book Guild Award.
