Dewey Lambdin
Dewey Lambdin (1945–2021) was an American author of nautical historical fiction, best known for his long-running Alan Lewrie series set during the American Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars. His novels also include *What Lies Buried: a novel of Old Cape Fear*, and he was widely associated with maritime adventure storytelling.
