Denise Pike
Denise Pike is a public historian and community engagement specialist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a Master's degree in Heritage Studies and Public History and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include urban history, race in history, architecture and design, and she specializes in using visualization tools and mapping to present historical data in contemporary settings. She has worked on projects including the Mapping Prejudice initiative and engages in anti-colonial and racial justice work through the public humanities.
