Denise Brennan-Nelson

Denise Brennan-Nelson is a children's author known for books such as Tallulah: Mermaid of the Great Lakes, Leopold the Lion, Someday Is Not a Day of the Week, My Momma Likes to Say, Santa’s Secret, and the popular Willow series.[1][6] She is of French and Irish descent, third in a family of eight, and lives in Howell, Michigan with her husband Bob, while working as a national speaker encouraging imagination in adults and children.[1][2] As a mother, dreamer, gardener, and community adviser, she draws inspiration from her life for her stories.[2][5]
