Denis Hill

Denis Cecil Hills (1913–2004) was a British author, teacher, journalist, and adventurer best known for being sentenced to death by Idi Amin after criticizing the Ugandan dictator in print. He taught in several countries, including Turkey and Uganda, and later wrote memoirs and travel-related works about his experiences.
