Debra J. Housel
Debra J. Housel, M.A., earned a master's degree from Nazareth College of Rochester and worked as a teacher for more than a dozen years before becoming an author.[2] She has authored over 124 books, primarily educational materials including reading guides, nonfiction comprehension workbooks, and leveled texts on topics such as American history and biographies.[1][4][5] Her popular works include 'A Guide for Using The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963' and books like 'Harriet Tubman' and 'Leveled Texts for Social Studies: American Biographies'.[1][2][6]
