Dean Miller

Dean A. Miller (1931-2018) was an American historian and Professor of History at the University of Rochester, where he taught for three decades. His magnum opus, The Epic Hero (2000), was the result of 20 years of interdisciplinary scholarship examining heroes across Western and Eastern epic traditions, and was selected as an Outstanding Academic Title by Choice magazine.
