David Young
David Samuel D'Arcy Young is a Canadian playwright, novelist, and screenwriter born in Oakville, Ontario. He studied at the University of Western Ontario and is the author of seven plays including the award-winning Fire, which received four Dora Mavor Moore Awards, two novels, and several screenplays and teleplays. Young co-founded the Writers' Trust of Canada and serves as a trustee of the Griffin Prize for Excellence in Poetry.[1][6]
