David Wiles

David Wiles is an Emeritus Professor of Drama at the University of Exeter, UK, specializing in classical and early modern theatre as a British theatre historian.[3][4] His research interests include performance space and time, mask, acting, and citizenship, and he has authored multiple books for Cambridge University Press, with his current work focusing on a history of the art of acting through ten biographies.[4][5]
