David Waugh

David Waugh is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the School of Education, University of Durham, where he serves as subject leader for primary English.[4] A former deputy headteacher and experienced educator in initial teacher training since 1990, he has published extensively on primary English and children's literature, and also writes children's stories, including The Wishroom, co-authored with 45 children from East Durham primary schools and published in 2017.[2]
