David McCullough
David McCullough was an American popular historian and author renowned for his exhaustively researched biographies of American presidents and historical events. He was a two-time winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2006, the nation's highest civilian award.
