David M. Rubin

David George Rubin (March 27, 1924 – February 2, 2008) was an American novelist and translator, best known for translating the works of Indian authors Munshi Premchand and Suryakant Tripathi 'Nirala'. He received the Authors' Club Best First Novel Award in 1963 and died from a stroke at age 83.
