David Lester

David Lester is a British-American psychologist and suicidologist born in London in 1942, known as one of the world's preeminent researchers on suicide. He earned his BA from Cambridge University and his PhD from Brandeis University, later serving as an emeritus professor of psychology at Stockton University in New Jersey. His scholarly work spans over 2,000 papers and 100 books on topics including suicide, murder, the death penalty, and the fear of death.
