David J McGill

David J. McGill (1939–2026) was a professor emeritus in aerospace and civil engineering at Georgia Tech who served as the inaugural director of the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL). He was a transformative educator and mentor who co-authored influential textbooks including 'Statics' and 'An Introduction to Dynamics' with colleague Wilton King.
