David J. Lu

Dr. David John Lu was a prolific author and correspondent who wrote over 17 books spanning Japanese history, culture, business, faith, and fiction. As a correspondent for the Japanese weekly Sekai to Nippon from 1972 to 2012, he published over 100 articles and developed relationships with 17 Japanese prime ministers, enabling him to produce several acclaimed texts on Japan including 'Japan: A Documentary History.'
