David J. Dallin
David J. Dallin (1889–1962) was a Belarusian-American historian, political scientist, and former Menshevik leader who became a prominent writer and lecturer on Soviet affairs. After fleeing Russia following the Revolution, he settled in the United States and authored numerous influential books on Soviet politics, espionage, and foreign policy. He is also known for assisting Victor Kravchenko in defecting from the Soviet Union in the 1940s.
