David I. Cleland

David Ira Cleland (1926–2018) was an American engineer, educator, and professor emeritus at the University of Pittsburgh, widely recognized as the "Father of Project Management." He authored or edited more than 40 books on project management and related fields, making him one of the most prolific and influential writers in the discipline.
