David F. Pelly
David F. Pelly is a Canadian author, ethnographer, and historian focused on the Arctic, its people, and its cultural history. Since leading his first Arctic expedition in 1977, he has written multiple books and many articles based largely on oral history and traditional knowledge shared by Inuit elders. He has also worked on documentary films, Inuit art exhibitions, and community cultural projects across Nunavut.
