David Dodge was an American crime and travel writer, best known for his novel 'To Catch a Thief,' which was adapted into a famous Hitchcock film. He worked as an accountant and a travel writer before turning to fiction, producing a series of popular mystery novels and travel books in the 1940s and 1950s.
