David Dickson
David Dickson (c. 1583–1662) was a prominent Scottish divine, theologian, and professor of philosophy and divinity at the Universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Born in Glasgow, he became a popular preacher in Irvine and later authored significant works including 'Truth's Victory over Error' and commentaries on the Gospels and Epistles. He was ejected from his position during the Restoration in 1662 and died the same year.
