David Currell

David Currell is an Associate Professor and Chair of English at the American University of Beirut, where he has taught since 2012. He holds a PhD in English from Yale University and completed undergraduate studies in Mathematics, Classics, and English at the University of Melbourne. His work as a literary historian focuses on Renaissance reception of classical antiquity and the contemporary global reception of these earlier periods, specializing in early modern drama and poetry.
