David Cook
David Kenneth Cook was a British author, screenwriter, and actor best known for his 1978 novel *Walter* and its screen adaptation, as well as being the first presenter of the UK TV programme *Rainbow*. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and appeared in his first role in the 1962 film. Born in Preston, Lancashire, he passed away in 2015.
