David Collins

David R. Collins (1940–2001) was an American author, teacher, and prolific children’s writer from Illinois. He taught for nearly four decades, founded the Mississippi Valley Writers’ Conference and the Children’s Literature Festival, and published more than 80 books, including the Sowers series.
