David Chericián

David Fernández Chericián (1940-2002) was a Cuban poet, actor, translator, journalist, and writer who expatriated to Colombia. Born in Havana, he worked as a theater actor and was one of the founders of Cuban television before becoming a prominent figure in Hispanic American literature, particularly in children's and youth genres, while residing in Bogotá.
