David Cannadine
Sir David Cannadine (born 7 September 1950 in Birmingham, England) is a British historian specializing in modern British history, the aristocracy, empire, class, business, and philanthropy. He holds the position of Dodge Professor of History at Princeton University, serves as editor of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography until July 2026, and was president of the British Academy from 2017 to 2021.[1][2][4]
