David C. Acheson

David C. Acheson (1921–2018) was an American attorney and author, best known for his memoir 'Acheson Country: A Memoir' and for editing 'Among Friends: The Personal Letters of Dean Acheson'. He served in various legal and governmental roles, including as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia and special assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury.
