David Bellamy

David James Bellamy OBE (1933–2019) was an English botanist, author, broadcaster, and prominent environmental campaigner known for his energetic television presentations on botany, ecology, and environmentalism in the 1970s and 1980s. He wrote numerous books and presented over 400 TV programs, including series like Bellamy on Botany and Bellamy's Britain, while founding the Conservation Foundation in 1982. Later in life, he became known for sceptical views on climate science and was a champion of peat bog preservation.
