David Armstrong Ma

David Armstrong was an American photographer born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who attended the Boston Museum School, Cooper Union, and earned a B.F.A. from Tufts University in 1988. He gained critical attention for his intimate, sharp-focus portraits of men, later contrasting them with soft-focus cityscapes and landscapes in the 1990s. His work appeared in publications like French Vogue and GQ, and in exhibitions including the 1995 Whitney Biennial, with advertising campaigns for brands like Zegna and Burberry.[1][5]
