Dave Kindred

Dave Kindred is an American sportswriter and author known for a career spanning more than five decades with major outlets including The Washington Post, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and The Sporting News. Born in Atlanta, Illinois, he has written extensively about sports and is the author of several books, including the dual biography Sound and Fury about Muhammad Ali and Howard Cosell.
