Daniel Silva
Daniel Silva (born 1960) is an American journalist and author of thriller and spy novels, best known for his long-running Gabriel Allon series featuring a spy and art restorer. He burst onto the scene in 1997 with his bestselling debut, The Unlikely Spy, and has since become a #1 New York Times bestselling author with works translated into more than 30 languages. Before becoming a full-time writer, Silva worked as a journalist, including as an executive producer at CNN.
