Daniel J Boorstin

Daniel J. Boorstin (1914–2004) was an American historian, author, and educator renowned for his trilogy The Americans, which explored American civilization and won the Bancroft, Parkman, and Pulitzer Prizes. He served as the Librarian of Congress from 1975 to 1987 and wrote over 20 books on American and world history, emphasizing consensus history, inventors, and the impact of media on culture.[1][2][3]
