Daniel Goleman
Daniel Goleman is an American psychologist, author, and science journalist best known for his 1995 bestseller Emotional Intelligence, which popularized the concept of emotional intelligence and remained on The New York Times Best Seller list for a year and a half.[1][4] Born in Stockton, California, he earned a PhD in clinical psychology from Harvard University after studying meditation in India and spent twelve years writing on brain and behavioral sciences for The New York Times.[2][1] Goleman has authored numerous books on mind, behavior, and meditation, co-founded CASEL, and continues to influence leadership and education through emotional intelligence research.[5][3]
