Dan Longo

Dan L. Longo, M.D., is an American physician and medical editor known for his work in internal medicine, oncology, and hematology. He earned his degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Missouri-Columbia, trained at Harvard-affiliated hospitals and the National Cancer Institute, and later became Scientific Director of the National Institute on Aging. He has published extensively and co-edits major medical references including Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine and Cancer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy: Principles and Practice.
