Dag Pike
Dag Pike was a renowned British maritime navigator, powerboat racer, and author of over 40 nautical books, with more than 65 years of experience in ships, sail, and power boats. He gained fame as the navigator on Virgin Atlantic Challenger II, which set a transatlantic speed record in 1986, and participated in multiple record attempts including the 1992 Destriero project. Pike also tested RNLI lifeboats, won the 2008 Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Championship at age 75, and contributed extensively to marine journalism.
