D H Lawrence
D. H. Lawrence (1885–1930) was an English novelist, poet, essayist, and playwright known for works that explored sexuality, class, modernity, and the tensions between instinct and social convention. His best-known books include Sons and Lovers, The Rainbow, Women in Love, and Lady Chatterley's Lover, many of which caused controversy for their frank treatment of relationships and desire.
