Cynthia B. Roy
Cynthia B. Roy is a retired Professor of Linguistics (PhD from Georgetown University, 1989) and a certified interpreter, educator, and researcher who has developed interpreting curriculum since 1979. She was an initial developer of the first graduate program in sign language interpretation and served as founder and editor of the Interpreter Education series. Her notable work includes the book Interpreting As a Discourse Process, published by Oxford University Press in 2000.
