Cristina Alger

Cristina Alger is a New York Times bestselling American author known for mystery thrillers and financial suspense novels, including The Darlings, The Banker’s Wife, and Girls Like Us. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs and as a corporate attorney specializing in distressed M&A and bankruptcy after graduating from Harvard College and NYU Law School. She was born and raised in New York City and currently resides there with her husband and children.
