Cris Arbo

Cris Arbo is an illustrator and artist known for her children's books featuring nature themes, such as 'In the Trees, Honeybees!' and collaborations with author Joseph Patrick Anthony including 'The Dandelion Seed' and 'In A Nutshell'. She received her BA from William Paterson University in New Jersey, majoring in art with a minor in theater arts, and has lived in Virginia where she modeled illustrations after a wild hive in her backyard. Arbo has earned awards like Honorable Mentions from the LA's Green Book Festival and New England Book Festival, and she sells wildlife paintings to benefit The Nature Conservancy.
