Craig Thompson Friend
Craig Thompson Friend is a historian specializing in the history of the American South and the early American Republic in the trans-Appalachian West. He earned his B.A. from Wake Forest University in 1983, M.A. from Clemson University in 1990, and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1995, and has held faculty positions at Georgetown College, University of Central Florida, and since 2005 as Professor of History and Public History at North Carolina State University.[1][2][5]
