Colin Hawkins

Colin Hawkins, born in 1945 in Blackpool, England, is a British author and illustrator of children's picture books, known for his lively and witty work often created in collaboration with his wife Jacqui Hawkins. After studying graphic design and illustration at Blackpool Art School, he worked as an illustrator for the Daily Express and later freelanced with Jacqui, producing popular titles with over half a million annual library loans. Their books include 'Witches' and 'It's a Fact and It's Very Funny'.
