Claire North
Claire North is the pseudonym of British author Catherine Webb, who began writing novels at age 14 and has published works across genres under various names including Kate Griffin. Best known for her debut as Claire North, the critically acclaimed time-loop novel The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, she has won the World Fantasy Award and John W. Campbell Memorial Award, with recent works like Slow Gods in 2025. She lives in London and works as a live music lighting designer.
