Claire Lombardo

Claire Lombardo is an American author whose debut novel The Most Fun We Ever Had (2019) became a New York Times bestseller, was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction, and selected for Reese's Book Club. A graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, she previously worked with homeless children and families in Chicago and has taught fiction writing. Her second novel, Same As It Ever Was, was published in 2024, and she lives in Iowa City or Minneapolis.[1][2][5]
