Chuck Palahniuk

Chuck Palahniuk, born February 21, 1962, in Pasco, Washington, is an American author renowned for his transgressive fiction, including the cult novel Fight Club (1996), adapted into a film starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.[1][4] He graduated from the University of Oregon with a journalism degree in 1986, worked various jobs, and gained fame after writing Fight Club following the rejection of his earlier manuscript Invisible Monsters, published in 1999.[3][2] Palahniuk has authored 19 novels, nonfiction, graphic novels, and short stories, often exploring dark, satirical themes.[1][6]
