Christopher R. Beha

Christopher R. Beha is an American author known for his memoir *The Whole Five Feet* and novels including *What Happened to Sophie Wilder*, *Arts & Entertainments*, and *The Index of Self-Destructive Acts*, which was longlisted for the 2020 National Book Award. He served as editor-in-chief of *Harper's Magazine* from 2019 to 2023, after progressing through various editorial roles there. A graduate of Princeton University and The New School's Creative Writing Program, Beha has explored themes of faith, meaning, and literature in his work, having returned to Catholicism after a period away.
