Christopher Norment

Christopher Norment is an emeritus professor of environmental science and ecology at SUNY College at Brockport, specializing in avian community structure, breeding biology, and conservation.[1][2] Born and raised in California, with much of his youth in the San Francisco Bay Area, he retired in 2023 and moved to Jackson, Mississippi.[2] He is the author of four books of creative nonfiction, including 'In the Memory of the Map' (2012) and 'Return to Warden’s Grove' (2008).[2][3]
