Christopher Bram

Christopher Bram is an American author born on February 22, 1952, in Buffalo, New York, known for his fiction that often explores gay life as part of mainstream experiences. He is perhaps most famous for his novel Father of Frankenstein, which was adapted into the Academy Award-winning film Gods and Monsters, and has authored twelve novels including Eminent Outlaws: The Gay Writers Who Changed America[1][2][6]. Bram currently serves as a professor at New York University and has received the 2003 Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement for LGBTQ authors[7].
