Christophe Bec

Christophe Bec, born in 1969 in Rodez, France, spent his early months in Morocco due to his parents' work before growing up in southern France, where he discovered comics at age 10 through Asterix albums. He began drawing young, attended the Angoulême Comics School in 1990, and debuted professionally in 1993 with Dragan, later achieving success with series like Sanctuaire (2001-2004), a bestseller with over 150,000 copies sold. Known for works including Absolute Zero, Sanctum, Prometheus, Pandemonium, Shadows of Salamanca, and Carthago, he has received nominations for Best Comic Album and the Uderzo Prize for Lent.
