Christine Kinealy

Christine Kinealy is an Irish historian and author born in England in 1956, specializing in nineteenth-century Irish history, particularly the Great Famine.[1][2] She served as deputy director at the Ulster Historical Foundation and University of Liverpool before moving to the United States in 2007, where she became founding director of Ireland's Great Hunger Institute and professor of history at Quinnipiac University.[1][3][4] She is also a tenured professor at Drew University in New Jersey.[4]
