Christina Lane
Christina Lane is an Edgar Award-winning author and Chair of the Cinematic Arts Department at the University of Miami, where she teaches film history, gender, and directors.[1][2][4] She is known for her books including 'Phantom Lady: Hollywood Producer Joan Harrison, The Forgotten Woman Behind Hitchcock' (2020), 'Feminist Hollywood: From Born in Flames to Point Break' (2000), and 'Magnolia' (2011), focusing on film history, feminist theory, and cultural studies.[1][3][6] Lane has contributed articles to journals like Cinema Journal and provided commentary for NPR, Daily Mail, and others, while serving as President of the University Film and Video Association from 2020 to 2022.[2][3][4]
